Technologist (Front End Semiconductor Processes)


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the leader to provide technology expertise to support penetration and defence strategies. Manage technical resources to secure, explore and win application market share.
  • Understand the key customers' technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and issues, identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and translate these into potential sales opportunities
  • Present the company's leading edge technology/roadmap to the key customers to develop and enhance customers' perception of the company. Work with Corporate Product Group to organize and manage new product demonstrations and exert positive influence on customer personnel's decision making.
  • Develop and maintain close relationship with key customers' engineering team.
  • Work with Account teams to develop and drive execution of application penetration and defence strategies to achieve top supplier positions.
  • Manage and drive the regional technical activities with key customers for integration, productivity and process solutions to customers.
  • Leadership voice to represent the region’s needs and customers' needs to Corporate.
  • Consultation role to Corporate on the current market situation - what are the competitors doing, the tool improvements, technology roadmaps that customers are looking for, etc.
  • Liaison between region, account and global product groups to effectively support new product and application introduction.
  • Deliver to account and region Annual Operating Plan targets.
  • Develop and grow technical competencies to support region’s account business.
  • Review organization effectiveness to ensure adequate resources and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree or PhD in the relevant engineering fields
  • >10 years of working experience in process integration or technology development function in /with wafer fabs or foundries
  • Strong hands-on experience in Etch or Deposition modules
  • Experience in advanced technology nodes (28nm and below) and 300mm wafer
  • Good connections with the key stakeholders with various wafer fabs and foundries in Singapore
  • Strong communicator, able to influence various decision makers and stakeholders internally / externally
  • Confident in presentations and dialogues to C-Levels in English
