Program Manager

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the P&L, supporting the growth, and financial performance / goals of the Aviation Network Product / Service portfolio in Asia Pacific
  • Playing a key support role in achieving financial targets of the Aviation Network Business in Asia
  • Deliver resilient and consistent leadership, common direction, strategy and team objectives to enable effective team delivery. It includes motivate, coach and mentor a team.
  • Ensure consistent team performance management as well as development and training to team on a timely basis.
  • Representing and promoting assigned Products/Services in Asia Pacific. Communicate – Disseminate Product/Service information to the sales team and customers
  • Responsible for ensuring all facets of the Product and Service Line are in place, which include, but are not limited to conducting and or coordinating Product/Service Training, leading and or assisting with the launching of new products or services
  • Launch and implement new customer requirements ensuring projects are successfully completed within scope, schedule, and budget. It includes to capture/extract, understand, and or clarify customer requirements and plans
  • Identify critical issues that impede success and suggest/implement plans to fix them. Ensure prompt and proactive technical support is readily available to customers to solve any technical issues / complaints
  • Engage/liaise with the Aviation Network Factory (based in U.S.) for engineering support on non-standard customer requirements / solutions (proposals, etc.…)
  • Adheres to Corporate ISO and business unit process and procedures
  • Inform business unit of service gaps and/or growth opportunities (making recommendations for improvement as necessary)
  • Responsible for coming up with pricing, training, commercial programs / proposals, customer solutions, and provide commercial sales and technical support
  • Monitor and report on competitive landscape; market / customer industry activities / strategies and competitor trends (service features, service and sales strategies, pricing levels and business direction)
  • Responsible for the decision point process; coordinates responsibilities with other functional areas in the company;
  • Work collaboratively with the shared service organizations and regional sales and marketing teams to support the pursuit and acquisition of future business;
  • Accountable for seamless service and delivery of network operations to the customers.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelors degree in technical related discipline
  • At least 10 or more relevant technical years’ experience in IT Network Solutions, Program / Project Management; within Asia Pacific region
  • At least 5 or more years people management experience
  • Familiar with aviation related IT Networks / Solutions / Technologies is highly 
  • Ability to track and report technical, schedule, and fiscal project performance (initially with significant guidance).
  • Responsible to develop and implement resource plans to support program.
  • Accountable to meet cost, schedule, budget and operational goals for programs
  • Possess demonstrated program leadership of functional management and project teams
  • Proven effective communication skill and proficiency in English
  • Travel approximately 25-50%
